A Guide to Discord
Ready for a new way to connect with your fellow guild members? Here's a guide to using the Seattle MQG Discord Server community.
What is Discord?
Discord is a new social media platform that gives us a way to communicate with each other online. Think of Discord like Slack, Skype, Teams, a community forum, a private messaging platform, etc. You can ask questions, share WIPs, list items for sale, and more, and your messages stay within the Seattle MQG community.
You can talk to other quilters by joining the Seattle Modern Quilt Guild "Server". Servers are little communities on Discord. Our server is private with only Seattle MQG members able to access it.

You can run Discord on your mobile device via an app (iOS | Android), on desktop via a desktop client, or simply through the browser via discord.com.
