Come help fellow guildies finalize our Community Outreach Challenge for QuiltCon 2027! This year’s theme is half-square triangles (HSTs) and we've chosen to make an improv quilt representing Seattle's quirky gum wall in Post Alley. Seattle MQG members have been busy making improv HSTs and HRTs in a bold color palette.
This is the second of two sew-ins. We will continue where we left off from the first session where the HSTs/HRTs were arranged on the design wall in a pleasing composition. The ultimate goal is to have a finished top by the end of the second session. All are welcome to the sew-in, whether you contributed HSTs or not.
Please bring:
We'll provide the design wall, large cutting mats, ironing boards, and irons.
This sew-in is open to all library patrons. Drop-ins welcome.
