Artist Statement:

An avid creator and outdoor enthusiast, Stephanie Forster has been quilting for more than fifteen years. Her patterns are often inspired by elements found in nature. Originally from Bismarck, North Dakota, Stephanie grew up camping with her family and spending time at their lake cabin in the summers. An artist from a young age, she has always enjoyed bringing the natural world indoors through drawing and painting. As a licensed mental health counselor and art therapist, she works with children and families in crisis. She lives in Seattle, Washington with her husband and cats, and enjoys spending time outdoors biking, kayaking, and snowboarding.
