QuiltCon 2026 Community Outreach Sew-In

Designed by SeaMQG member Lindsey Berres

Date: Saturday, 9/27, 12:30 - 5:30 pm

Address: Bothell Library, 18215 98th Avenue NE

Parking: Enter the parking lot from NE 183 St. The library has a parking limit of four hours, so please consider using street or other public parking if you plan to attend for longer.

Room location: Enter the main library space from the front entrance near the parking lot and go through the inner doors. Turn left, and the meeting room is on the left.

Supplies: Please bring your sewing machine, blue and white cotton thread, and any other notions you may need. We'll have a mat and rulers for trimming plus a pressing station. The fabric is pre-cut (thank you, Aline and Martha!) and ready to sew.

Come help create our group quilt for the QuiltCon 2026 community outreach challenge! We will be piecing the curved blocks and foundation paper piecing (FPP) sections at this sew-in.

We'd recommend coming in with at least some experience with sewing either curves or FPP, but don't worry, there is extra trimming space in all the curved blocks! The FPP sections have pre-creased papers, with a mix of beginner and intermediate difficulty. (We will be using standard paper, not freezer paper.)

Please select from the two techniques when you sign up so that we can achieve the right balance across the team.

We look forward to seeing you there!
