Topic: Fabric Collage - What It's All About

Learn more about the Fabric Collage trend, who’s making fabric collage and how Jane makes her fabric collage quilts. See various examples of her work over the years, her progression from only making fish quilts, working through various themes to her newer collage pieces. She’ll describe how to make an enlarged pattern suitable for collage, the types of fabric and tools you will need and her collage technique using glue and machine quilting.

Format: Hybrid

The May 2024 General meeting will be hybrid, meaning you can attend virtually via Zoom or in-person at the Greenwood Senior Center. If you register for the in-person meeting, we will still send you the Zoom information (because, hey--life happens).

For our virtual participants:

We will have breakout rooms before and after the meeting. When you join the meeting on May 8th, we’ll put you in a breakout room, so you can chat with a smaller group until 7 pm. Similarly, after the meeting, we will open some breakout rooms so that anyone who wants to hang around and chat can do so.
