The October 2023 General meeting will be hybrid, meaning you can attend virtually via Zoom or in-person at the Greenwood Senior Center. If you register for the in-person meeting, we will still send you the Zoom information (because, hey--life happens).
Join us for a talk by Daisy Aschehoug of Warm Folk.
Lecture Description:Part trunk show, part slide show, and part story hour, this lecture contains my life history for the past decade in quilting. I share details on my design inspiration, a walk-through of my digital design process, and describe the how and why of the most important moments in my quilt career - good and bad. You'll also get sneak peeks at current projects that I'm not posting on social media. It's a fun hour full of stories and colorful quilts.
For our virtual participants:
We will have breakout rooms before and after the meeting. When you join the meeting on October 11th, we’ll put you in a breakout room, so you can chat with a smaller group until 7pm. Similarly, after the meeting, we will open some breakout rooms so that anyone who wants to hang around and chat can do so.
Remember to send your photos for Sew and Tell to email@example.com by 8pm, Tuesday, October 10th.
If you do choose to join us virtually, please be patient with us--we are still new at hosting hybrid meetings. While we want to make sure that everyone has a great experience, there will likely be some bumps in the road as we figure out a good setup and flow that works for all of our guild members.
