The September 2023 General meeting will be hybrid, meaning you can attend virtually via Zoom or in-person at the Greenwood Senior Center. If you register for the in-person meeting, we will still send you the Zoom information (because, hey--life happens).

Join us for a talk by Sheila Frampton Cooper (@sheilaframptoncooper ) on "It's the Quilting that Binds Us".

Lecture Description:

My travels have brought me to many wonderful places, and I have found that the love we share for our art form is universal.

Join me on a virtual tour as I share my adventures and work from Quilters I’ve met over the years. Are there similarities? What about cultural influences? Together we’ll take a deep dive into the wonderful world of Quilts and people that make them!

For our virtual participants:

We will have breakout rooms before and after the meeting. When you join the meeting on September 13th, we’ll put you in a breakout room, so you can chat with a smaller group until 7pm. Similarly, after the meeting, we will open some breakout rooms so that anyone who wants to hang around and chat can do so.

Remember to send your photos for Sew and Tell to hello@seattlemqg.com by 8pm, Tuesday, September 12th.

If you do choose to join us virtually, please be patient with us--we are still new at hosting hybrid meetings. While we want to make sure that everyone has a great experience, there will likely be some bumps in the road as we figure out a good setup and flow that works for all of our guild members.
