What is a sew-in and why would I want to attend?
Sew-ins are a great opportunity to connect with fellow guild members, both new-to-you folks and long-time friends. Our virtual sew-ins are drop-in and informal; join when you can and leave when you need.
Sew-ins are filled with learning opportunities.
- Watch how other folks do things.
- Ask for quilting tips and tricks.
- Solicit advice and feedback.
What do I do at a sew-in?
Sewing is optional at sew-ins. Or, choose anything to work on – machine work, hand work, ironing, cutting, choosing fabric, organizing, cleaning your work space, or starting to think about your next project. Come, listen, share, and learn.

How do I join a virtual sew-in?
To receive the Zoom link, register for at least one sew-in. The Zoom link will be emailed to you in a confirmation email as well as a reminder email.
What if I want to go to more than one sew-in?
Fantastic! Join as many as you would like.
Since the same Zoom link lets you join all the sew-ins, it’s not necessary to re-register, but you may find it helpful. Think about the registrations as signing up to receive a reminder email.
If you have questions, email us at programs@seattlemqg.com.
We look forward to sewing with you soon.
